Nordic Business Developer, Dermalogica!

Are you a strategic business developer that thrives in client facing meetings and contacts? Are you passionate about skin care and looking for an opportunity to work with a premium brand?

We are looking for a Nordic Business Developer for a new appointed role in the Nordic market. The role is placed in Sweden, and you will work from your home office alternatively from the local agent’s office in Bromma, Stockholm.

You will report to EMEA Sales Manager located in UK and travel across the Nordic region to meet clients. Due to working with Dermalogica offices in multiple time-zones it requires flexibility to work outside standard office hours.

The Role

As Nordic Business Developer you will be responsible for business development in the Nordic region (Sweden, Norway, and Denmark). The focus lies on strategic and operational development on existing accounts. You will also be responsible for external monitoring of the market including analysis of the market itself and potential new business opportunities.

The role will include:

  • building and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders externally within the Nordic market and internally within the global organisation.
  • working with strategic initiatives to improve site KPIs.
  • ensuring customer compliance with Dermalogica’s requirement criteria’s and maintaining a consistent brand presence across the markets.
  • creating promotional program for key accounts.
  • proactively seek opportunities to build brand visibility and develop projects that will profitably grow the business, build awareness, and enhance the brand experience.
  • leveraging content that supports brand DNA; for example, implementing face mapping, building SEO relevant for third-party internet sites and influencing Key Accounts to reach and attract new consumers to the Dermalogica brand.
  • managing and track retail sales, sales budgets and marketing-related expenses, channel P&L responsibility.
  • managing forecasting for new product launches and promotions with support of supply chain operations in Germany.
  • identifying opportunities to improve promotional success and operational efficiency.
  • being point of contact for all account and order queries.

Is this you?

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree or similar alternatively longer relevant work experience. You have minimum 3 years’ experience in a strategic/ operational role with similar work tasks and experience from the Nordic online market. Ability to build relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders is a key factor to be successful in this role, along with analytical experience, including the ability to extract and manipulate data. If you have experience working with a premium skin and/or beauty brand it is strongly preferred.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are fluent Swedish and English. If you are bilingual/trilingual within the Nordic region it is a plus. We expect you to be IT literate in Microsoft Office.
