Arla is looking for a Operational Education Manager – Supply Chain

The Role

Your job will be to secure best-in-class learning and development solutions that meet Arla’s future requirements and live up to the challenging overall strategic agenda. You will create a solid overview of the required competencies for our 3400 dairy and production colleagues within maintenance, planning & logistics, production and packaging in our Swedish Supply Chain. You will make sure that our education plans are future proof, well developed and reflect exactly the requirements for the years to come. Which competencies do we have now? Which do we need? What does it take us to get there? These are your fascinating and business critical considerations.

Your job will be a hands-on perspective where you will get to understand your colleagues challenges and needs for training at our dairy sites. In close cooperation with the unions, the educational institutions and the Supply Chain organization you will design and arrange learning solutions.

Experience, education and personality

To be successful in this role you have strong experience in a learning environment global or large scale production level experience with learning, and you are eager to deliver relevant and present learning activities to our Swedish Dairies as well as Arla Foods’ Global Supply Chain. Experience of working within a dairy environment would be advantageous as well as functional education within e.g. dairy production, planning/logistics or engineering. You must also have experience from working within HR and good understanding of supply chain processes as well as logistic processes.

You need to be a communicative, driven and enthusiastic person who can convey knowledge in a pedagogical manner. With your holistic approach you understand the importance of adding value by always delivering highest possible quality. You also need a good portion of political understanding and resolution to assert yourself between ministries, trade unions and other authorities. Knowledge of collective agreements and labour law as well as financial awareness will be a plus. You have probably also experience with The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) as well as good skills in defining taxonomies and competencies that you can link to relevant learning solutions. You thrive in a busy and dynamic environment where no two days are alike, and look forward to be at our sites 2-3 days a week in order to understand the organization and their needs.

You have already proven that you are able to build business cases and conclude on which decisions to pursue in order to produce the best possible solutions for your colleagues and Arla globally. Lastly, you speak and write Swedish and English proficiently.
