The Role
DeLaval is looking to further develop our expertise in driving projects in an important sector that helps the world consume products in a sustainable way and is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to the Project Management Office within Product Development (R&D).
As Senior Project manager, you will be a key person in aligning projects and making sure they proceed as planned. The projects are very often part of integrated systems containing mechanics, electronics, hardware and software. You will lead the development projects through different phases, from feasibility study to commercial release of products. In addition, it is also important for the Project Manager to understand the bigger picture and business side in relation to the development of future DeLaval products.

You will be a part of the Project Manager Team within Product Development and work with a wide range of stakeholders within DeLaval. The Development Organization, in total 280 people can be potential project member at different times. The teams are mainly based in Sweden and Poland, but you will also interact with colleagues in USA and with production, lab and distribution sites in Germany and China with a great possibility to make a positive impact on both people and products.

Is this you?
To be successful in this position we believe you have a technical university degree and several years of working experience as Project Manager. In addition, you have strong understanding of product development processes in a large R&D organization. We also think you have solid experience from agile methodologies. Experience of Jira or other Project Management Programs gives extra merit. Fluent in English, both in speech and writing is mandatory.

You make things happen and take decisions when necessary with a structured approach. It is very important you are a good communicator with ability to communicate with both business and strategic stakeholders as well as with technical development teams.
