DeLaval is currently making a major investment in innovation and digitization which is taken place in different parts of the organization. This includes creating a more efficient test strategy and implementing test automation in an early phase of the product development.
As System Integration test engineer you will be a part of a team within System Engineering within Product Development (R&D). The system integration testing team itself is a new initiative to improve quality and timeline for the delivery through automatic execution of test cases in a lab environment.
DeLaval develops and delivers farm automation systems. The systems consist of many different devices, sub devices with controllers to integrate these devices through data communication. The controller also acts as data service provider and link between device and PC/cloud management software. For the system integration test team, these controllers are the primary test object.
Some of your Key Responsibilities for the position will be to:
- Execute Performance test measurement using simulated setup
- Collect and organize integration test scripts and run them in full system setup
- Help development team in troubleshooting bugs found in testing
- Work with external interfaces and test them using appropriate methods
- Execute integration test scripts and report test results in tools like Polarion
- Writing non-functional integration test cases
- Improve the test scripts and automation where required
- Analyze and troubleshoot test script implementation issues

Is this you?
To be successful in this position we believe you have a technical university degree. You have a couple of year’s experience in setting simulated test environment and in automated test execution using Python in a Linux environment. In addition, you have excellent knowledge of Linux and shell commands and you probably have experience of data analysis and the ability to find patterns and outliers. We think you have good experience in writing test cases and test reports. Experience working in a product development/ R&D environment and an understating of agile ways of working / SAFe gives extra merit.
Fluent in English, both in speech and writing is mandatory.
