The Role
Elekta is now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to fill an interesting role in the organization. This opportunity is well suited for a person who wants to initiate and drive quality system related projects. The QA Engineer is also responsible for identifying non-compliances and for driving necessary improvements of compliance issues.

Your key responsibilities will be following:

• Proactively facilitate and lead process improvement activities, which will lead to improved efficacy, whilst securing regulatory compliance in alignment with business activities.
• Together with process owners and department managers compile and prioritize the process improvement roadmap, in alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in QA internal audit programs, including audits of departments, suppliers and other Elekta business areas/regions/global functions
• Participate in different QA projects and programs both locally and globally
• Develop and provide improvement methods and tools to the organization
• Proactively support the organization in achieving necessary quality standard certifications needed for targeted market areas (e.g. ISO 9001)
• Advise and assist operational managers and process owners throughout the business with QA matters
• Maintaining the operation of the BMS; Business Management System within Elekta Instrument AB.

Experience, education and personality
To be successful in this role you need to have experience in an either Supplier Quality, Quality or Manufacturing engineering preferably in the MedTech or Pharma industry. Experience in quality assurance, working with manufacturing or product development. You have excellent Swedish and English skills, both orally and written.

You have a good knowledge of Quality Control systems and methodologies. Your experience of quality standards/requirements like e.g. ISO 9001 is important, as well as your knowledge of the European Directive for Medical Devices and US FDA regulations would be an advantage.

You have a Master of Science degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, etc.) or equivalent engineering degree.
