This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension or permanent employment.

The Role                                                                                                                                                  

As IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting atNorth's continued growth across the Nordic region. You will be responsible for delivering responsive and high-quality onsite IT support to approximately 100 employees in Finland while working closely with colleagues across the Nordic IT organization.

This is a highly visible and hands-on role where you will support employees with their day-to-day IT needs, contribute to onboarding and offboarding activities, manage local IT equipment, and help ensure a seamless workplace technology experience. You will work closely with central IT teams in Iceland as well as external service providers while contributing to the development of a scalable and service-oriented IT support function.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing onsite first- and second-line IT support to employees.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and workplace technology issues.
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, including account administration and device preparation.
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining laptops, mobile devices and workplace equipment.
  • Managing IT assets and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Coordinating with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
  • Collaborating closely with teams within IT Support, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and IT Operations.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of local support routines.
  • The role might require occasional travel between atNorth datacenter locations within the country to provide on-site IT Support.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal IT policies and security standards.

The role reports to the Head of Infrastructure, Cyber Security and IT Support and is part of a growing Nordic IT organization focused on delivering a high-quality employee experience across the region. The position is based at atNorth's FIN02 site in Espoo, Helsinki.

You likely have:

  • At least 2 years of experience within IT Support, Service Desk, Workplace Technology, End User Support or a similar role.
  • Experience providing hands-on onsite IT support in a corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 users and environments.
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting laptops, mobile devices and workplace technology.
  • Experience working with ticketing or IT service management systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows environments and common workplace IT infrastructure.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Experience working in an international organization, supporting multiple locations, or using tools such as Intune, Entra ID and Mobile Device Management solutions is considered an advantage.
