Director of Procurement for atNorth, Stockholm

atNorth is a leading Nordic data center services company that offers sustainable, cost effective and scalable high-performance computing across Iceland, Sweden and Finland. The company operates seven data centers in strategic locations across the Nordics, with two more to open during the year to come.

The Role

As Director of Procurement at atNorth, you will be first in line regarding our procurement function, be a part of the board, and in the future potentially have employee responsibilities. Your prime responsibility will be to develop and implement procurement processes tailored to the specific needs of atNorth. Due to a very high demand and rapid growth, there will be an emphasis on agile and effective processes that doesn’t slow the company’s progression. With a particular focus on IT, Infrastructure, electricity, and development/construction you will work cross-functionally within the organization and use your great interpersonal skills to interpret internal procurement needs and drive the dialogue and process together with stakeholders and suppliers.

Is this you?

To be successful in this position we see that you have 5+ years’ experience in within a managerial position in procurement as well as experience in procuring either IT, IT infrastructure, electricity or in property development. If you have precious experience in datacenters as well as in fast-paced scale up environments, we consider that a big plus

As a person you have a solution-oriented mindset with a strong internal drive to get things done. You have great interpersonal and negotiating skills with the knowledge and experience of managing stakeholders and suppliers on multiple levels. You are flexible, agile and stress resistant as well as analytical and structured which allows you to navigate in an environment with fast growth and continual changes.
