Energy Procurement Specialist for atNorth, Stockholm

atNorth is a leading Nordic data center services company that offers sustainable, cost effective and scalable high-performance computing across the Nordics. The company operates seven data centers in strategic locations across the Nordics, with two more to open during the year to come.

The Role

We are now looking for an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the Nordic energy market to lead atNorth’s energy procurement. You will play an integral role in setting atNorths energy sourcing strategy and build relationship with energy vendors while working closely with the business in optimizing sustainable usage of power.

As Energy Procurement Specialist at atNorth you will be a part of the Business control team playing a crucial role in ensuring effective procurement of renewable energy for all current and future sites. Business Control is an essential part of the organization and the team manages financial planning and analysis, builds investment cases, manages financing and liquidity, ensures profitable operations and prepares stakeholder communications.

As an Energy Procurement Specialist you will be tasked with negotiating and procuring sustainable energy, analyzing market trends, manage pricing and usage risk and support various business units in all things regarding energy. Nevertheless, you are not alone as you will be a part of a team of experienced professionals all tasked with ensuring profitable and sustainable operations of atNorth.

The role is preferably placed in Akalla, Stockholm. But potential locations could also be Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Helsinki or Iceland.

Is this you?

To be successful in this position we see that you have at least 5 years of experience working with the Nordic energy market as a seller or buyer. Furthermore, you have experience in contract negotiations. Previous Data center experience is a plus. You have relevant education from the field of finance, economics, or engineering.

In this role English is mandatory and a Nordic language is considered a plus.
