We are looking for a MES System Engineer to Octapharma – one of the largest human protein manufacturers in the world!
The Role
As part of Octapharma’s global MES team you will pro-actively work with individuals and cross-functional teams to define and support MES requirements and operations.
The role includes:
You will belong to Octapharma Corporate and report to Manager OctaERP in Vienna. You will be placed in Octapharma’s site in Stockholm, with 900 employees, located centrally in Stockholm (Kungsholmen) where you will work close to the local IT department and be an important part of their work and social activities.

In this recruitment, your personal attributes will be of great importance. You are self-driven, proactive and passionate for technology. You need to be collaborative, an effective team player and have good analytical problem-solving skills as well as communication skills.
To be successful in this role you need to have solid experience of MS Operating Systems and Oracle databases. It is strongly meritorious if you have previous experience of MES and/or ERP systems (e.g. SAP). You need to have knowledge of AD, DNS, IP networks and virtualization, and a general understanding of configuration, setup, scripting, protocols around scales and mobile terminals. Preferably you have an academic degree and 3-5 years of experience from a similar role.
Written and oral fluency in English is required, and knowledge in Swedish is strongly meritorious.
