The Role
As a Data Scientist, you belong to the Big Data department that is a part of the Digital Services Unit (DS). The DS Unit is under construction and aims to drive digitalization and automation ahead of all DeLaval’s digital services offerings. Your responsibility is to develop and test models used in multivariate analysis, linear modelling and data mining of DeLaval´s data where you will be using training, tests, and cross-validation data sets. The role will search and discover the information hidden in the vast amounts of data where you will apply data mining techniques using state-of-the-art methods and tools, do statistical analysis, and build cool Machine learning/AI contributions. You will deploy and maintain models in close cooperation with the product managers and with the assistance of relevant software teams in DeLaval into commercial DS offerings. It also includes to synthesize, visualize, and communicate ideas to others.
The role is new and gives you good opportunities to contribute ideas on tools and working methods that the department will work with in the future.
Key responsibilities:
The main focus of the role will be to work with Predicted Maintenance.
You will be working in DeLaval´s office in Tumba, (Stockholm) and report to Big Data Manager.
