Manager Integrated System and Product Release within R&D to Elekta

The Role
Elekta is now looking for a Manager for Integrated System and Product Release to fill an important role in the organization. You will be a key stakeholder in the development of a high profile MedTech portfolio, including the Leksell Gamma Knife® Icon™ and other exciting future products currently being developed. You will manage a team of 12 senior experts in our office in down-town Stockholm and be a member of the R&D management team. This opportunity is well suited for a person who wants to lead and drive system development in a global and entrepreneurial environment.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Being part of the Global Engineering Sweden Management Team. The Management Team has the overall responsibility for a successful Portfolio performance and to ensure that we have a capable and flexible R&D organization.
• Overall responsibility for our capability to develop and release products in the Radiosurgery and Neuroscience solutions portfolio.
• Responsibility for the intended use of the Integrated system as well as system and subsystem levels of architecture, requirements, verification, usability and validation.
• Ownership of configuration management and control of product documentation
• Design authority for system architecture and system safety

This position reports to Vice President Global Engineering Sweden at the global headquarter in Stockholm

Experience, education and personality
To be successful in this role you have leadership experience in System Development and/or Release Management from a complex manufacturing industry with high safety and quality demands. Experience from the MedTech industry will be considered an advantage. You have a Master of Science in engineering or equivalent.

You are an innovative and strategic leader with a keen interest in people development. You have experience from leading a senior team with a deep knowledge in their respective fields and you have the natural ability to influence and engage others. You have a confident and open personality and you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
