BSH Home Appliances AB is looking for a driven and creative Category Manager Nordics & the Baltics

The candidate will be responsible for promoting the supervised category personal care with full ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset in the Nordics and Baltic region.

The Role
You will steer and optimize the local category regarding the fulfillment of market share, turnover and profitability targets. The role is responsible for defining budget and coordinate category-specific marketing and sales activities in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. You will also be responsible for ensuring the daily business success and prepare and support local product launches. The role will have direct responsibility on assortment and sales and profitability targets of the category managed.

You will report to Head of Category Manager. The office is located in Solna.

Work tasks:

• Develop and implement category strategy to drive household penetration
• Own and ensure successful execution of marketing strategy and plans
• Close cooperation with headquarters in local strategy formulation
• Steering and monitoring Nordic sales force, challenging status quo to grow business
• Creatively promote brand awareness using tools such as PR, Media, Online activities
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining distribution strategy and portfolio

Experience, education and personality
We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years experience in a similar role and preferably experience from the FMCG industry, home electronics or retail. If you have an understanding for as well as experience within online media and PR it is an advantage.

You have relevant post-secondary education preferably within marketing and/or economics.

A high level skill in Microsoft Office and especially Excel and PowerPoint is a must. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Multilingual skills will be appreciated.
