The Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Farm Automation Team. The team is responsible for conventional milking systems and animal identification. Our systems include both real-time software, web and mobile applications.
Your responsibility is to develop and maintain the system for its full life cycle, and to ensure deliveries of well-functioning systems and mobile applications to our users. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in two weeks sprints with system releases delivered to farms every ten weeks.
The team works broadly in product development with activities including everything from architecture, system development and test automation to process development. The team is jointly responsible for our deliveries but we want each member of the team to have an expert area to focus extra on. This is where your competence in system development will be of great importance for the team’s future successes.
The role works cross-functionally with many stakeholders, primarily internally and some externally in form of visits to the farms. You will be located in DeLaval´s office in Tumba, (Stockholm) and report to Platform SW Manager.
