The Role
As Finance Manager at Creative Technology, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making, ensuring accurate project reporting, and driving business intelligence initiatives. Rather than focusing solely on routine financial processes, this role places a strong emphasis on project reporting, requiring a proactive and analytical approach to financial planning and performance tracking. You will work closely with the Managing Director in Norway, operational heads, and project managers to provide financial insights and ensure that the company meets its budgetary goals while reporting to the Nordic Finance Director.
This is a role that involves both strategic and operational elements. You will be involved in developing financial models, improving cost control, and enhancing financial forecasting accuracy. Your ability to challenge assumptions, analyze financial data, and support decision-making will be crucial in driving both profitability and sustainable growth.

You will be part of a collaborative finance team that works closely with both local and Nordic management, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate, project planning is financially sound, and strategic initiatives align with business goals. Is this you?
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have a university degree in economics, 2–3 years of experience in accounting from a Big Four firm, as well as additional experience in a Business Controller position. You have a strong foundation in financial analysis, forecasting, and project reporting, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Experience with cash flow forecasting and P&L performance tracking will be highly beneficial. Your ability to work both strategically and hands-on will be key, as this role requires balancing financial planning with operational execution. Fluency in Norwegian and English is mandatory.

This role requires a combination of financial expertise, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities to bridge the gap between finance and operations, ensuring that financial insights drive business success. Your ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions will be essential in helping the company optimize financial reporting and project planning.
