The Role
As Fuel Manager you are part of the committed team, Fuel and Operations, and the Sourcing organization within SAS. You will be the driving force behind procuring fuel for SAS operations across the globe. This dynamic role requires a proactive approach to managing a large network of suppliers, ensuring a constant and timely fuel supply. You'll be hands-on, tackling operational challenges such as diversions and supply disruptions while collaborating closely with various internal departments like operations, tax, and finance. Your expertise will also be crucial in managing fuel tenders and negotiating favorable terms. The fuel market is ever-changing, so staying ahead of trends, price fluctuations, and potential disruptions is a must.
Your key responsibilities:
Is this you?
To be successful in this position, you have a university degree in a relevant field, preferably in economics or engineering. You have about five years’ experience of working with procurement or supply chain preferably in an international context. It is an advantage if you have experience from the fuel or chemical industry. You are accustomed to working in Excel and PowerPoint and in delivering presentations.
Proficient in Swedish is preferable, but in English, both verbal and written is a must.
