Field Application Engineer to Arrow, Kista

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting network of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer who will join our Engineering team, to help guide our customers R&D in Sweden and help them realize their innovative ideas.

The role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about electronics. You are innovative and enjoy being involved in technical projects that will make life better.

Key responsibilities

• Help Development Engineers to select the right technologies and components for their next design.
• Be involved in many different development projects for our customers.
• Engage in continuous professional development, benefiting from the latest training offered by leading electronic component manufacturers and our in-house specialists.
• Guide technical direction/priorities based on suppliers shaping strategy and market situation.

Is this you?

To be successful in this position you have:

• Experience in electronics and a passion for working with innovative technology that can change our way of living.
• An academic degree such as M.Sc./B.Sc. Engineer or equivalent degree in electronics.
• Experience in electronic design.
• A driving license and willingness to travel in Sweden in connection to customer visits.
• A good level of Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

Preferably, you live in the Stockholm/Mälardalen area and will be based in our offices in Kista.
