The role
IBECO is one of the leading Water and Sanitation/Plumbing and Heating suppliers in Sweden and is now expanding its business to Finland. We are looking for a Country Sales Manager to help establish our brand and grow our market share in this exciting new territory. The country sales manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, leading sales personnel, coordinating with other departments, and analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities. The role focuses on increasing sales and establishing a presence at the Finnish market.

We are seeking an individual who can take on the critical role of a Country Sales Manager within our organization. This role is essential to our success, and we need someone who is passionate about sales and business development, as well as a natural leader. Your primary responsibility will be to build and manage a high-performing team that will drive growth and profitability in the market. You will start with managing a Technical Inside Sales Specialist, but the team will grow over time.
To qualify for this position, a successful candidate should possess a distinguished record of accomplishments in a similar role within the Water and Sanitation/Plumbing and Heating industry. We prefer candidates who hold an bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical education and possess a minimum of ten years of experience in the business sector, particularly within the product sector. A comprehensive grasp of the market is a necessary requirement for this position. Additionally, knowledge of water/plumbing products is highly beneficial for the role.
Apart from the requirements mentioned above, we are looking for a strategic thinker with a drive for results. You should possess exceptional leadership skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization. We need a self-starter who is not afraid to take the initiative and can work well under pressure. The ideal candidate should also be results-oriented, able to think outside the box, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
In terms of language proficiency, fluency in both written and spoken Finnish and English is mandatory, and proficiency in Swedish would be highly desirable. The office will be located 20-25 minutes’ drive from Helsinki-Vanda Airport. Traveling is needed, in Finland on daily basis and to Sweden on a yearly basis.
