Strategic Pricing Manager

DeLaval is now looking for a Pricing Manager who will be the key resource in providing pricing solutions to DeLaval’s customers across the globe. The role involves to actively participate to key global strategic projects together with different units and support a part of the commercial organization on the different pricing activities.
The position as Strategic Pricing Manager will manage a team of price specialists and price analyst, setting direction and supporting the team in different projects. Besides participating to key global strategic projects, you will also support a part of the commercial organization on the different pricing activities.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting pricing team when setting price structure and price logic for new products and solutions.
- Support the sales entities in identifying pricing actions that encourage higher sale values, conversion rates, margins and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and help implement pricing changes based in price analysis.
- Overall pricing process owner.
- Participate to the new DeLaval Enterprise Project, connecting existing pricing tools to the complete IT environment (ERP, quotation tools, CRM, PRM, etcetera)
- Lead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables and drafting communications and/or presentations.
- Assist R&D efforts with pricing direction.
As the Strategic Pricing Manager, you will be a part of the DeLaval Global EMEA unit team and report directly to the Vice President of Market development and Sales support for EMEA. It is a strategic and demanding role with high degree of own responsibility.
The position is based in Tumba, Stockholm but at DeLaval we work flexibly.
Is this you?
We are looking for someone with a university degree in statistics, math, engineering, economics or related analytical discipline. You have solid and significant experience from working with pricing, including defining pricing concepts and structures. Moreover, you have practical experience analyzing data and enjoy working with large volumes of data and significant experience in complex project management and the ability to manage multiple projects in a global environment.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge and work experience within the fields of financial management, commercial operations or business analysis. Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools like Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint, ERP (SAP) is a must.
To be successful as Strategic Pricing Manager, you must have strong Leadership and management capabilities. You can interact with diverse people across different cultures and functions.

It is a requirement that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish, including presenting complex concepts in straight-forward ways.
